Directions

1

Step 1

To make the dry erase half of your travel game, stick one 10 in. by 10 in. piece of the Duck® BrandDry Erase Deco Laminate to a piece of foam core board. Cut off any excess.

2

Step 2

Cover the back and edges of the dry erase board in Duck Tape®.

3

Step 3

To make the checker board half of your travel game, trace your finished dry erase board on to your remaining foam core board. Cut it out.

4

Step 4

Cover the front, back and edges of the piece of foam core board you cut in step 3 in Duck Tape®.

5

Step 5

Cut thirty-two 1 in. squares in a different color Duck Tape® and stick them to your board in a checker board pattern.

6

Step 6

Cut thirty-two .5 inch squares of self-adhering hook and loop fastener and stick them on the squares you cut in step 5.

7

Step 7

Cut off a 15 in. long piece of Duck Tape® and fold it width wise onto itself. This strip will hold your dry erase markers.

8

Step 8

Lay your strip on the back of the finished checker board. Push up about 1 in. of the strip to create tiny loops big enough to fit your dry erase marker. Use a .5 in. piece of tape to hold it in place.

9

Step 9

Continue to make loops until you have enough to fit all your dry erase markers.

10

Step 10

Cut off a piece of Duck Tape® that measures 18 in. long and fold it over onto itself widthwise and cut into three sections each measuring 6 in. long each.

11

Step 11

Tape two strips to the bottom of each side of your game boards, leaving a .5 in. gap to create a hinge so the boards can open and close.

12

Step 12

Tape the third strip to the top of one of the game boards and add a self-adhering hook and loop fastener to both the back of the game board and the strip. This will create an enclosure for your board.

13

Step 13

To create the game pieces, create a Duck Tape® that is 6 in. long. If you want thicker pieces, add 2 extra layers of tape.

14

Step 14

Trace and cut out 12 circles onto your fabric. You can trace a nickel if you want them to all be the same.

15

Step 15

Place a self-adhering hook and loop fastener to the backside of your game pieces.

16

Step 16

Repeat steps 13-16 in a different color or print for the other player.

17

Step 17

For the handle, make a double sided strip of Duck Tape® that is 12 in. long.

18

Step 18

Tape the handle to the top of the travel game.
